A simulation of the Iran-Iraq War (1980–1988) is scheduled for release as a new scenario for Wars Across the World in 2027.

The current challenge lies in deciding whether to include Israeli interventions against the Osirak nuclear plant or the US Navy’s role during the Tanker War around 1987 (which bears a striking resemblance to the current naval conflict between Iran and the US!).
