Over the summer, we revisited scenario ideas for Wars Across the World that had previously been set aside for various reasons. We recently came across a map prototype for the conquest of the Iberian Peninsula—carried out between 236 and 220 BC by the Carthaginian forces of Hamilcar Barca (the father of the great Hannibal).

In time, this could make for an engaging game topic, offering insight into why and how the Carthaginians held this territory at the start of the Second Punic War. Stay tuned…
